MoroSystems, a development company from Brno, created this diabolical questionnaire which bombards users with the world’s worst error messages. Because we were just finishing work on their new website, MoroSystems asked us to also help them design the form, which was used not only as a brand awareness campaign, but also as part of their hiring process.
We received only a concept for the form — basically just the idea, some wireframes, and a sketch of the user flow. Adri, our UX designer who was already working on MoroSystem’s hiring subpages of their website, took the idea and breathed life into it. Well, an 8-bit life, at least.
Almost 4,000 unique users "enjoyed" this game during the first month after launch, with 40% of those arriving organically. This resulted in over 65% of the users allowing MoroSystems to keep their contact info on file to receive information about future events and Meetup invites. This has given them a lot of new contacts and has significantly boosted their hiring ability.
